Open Call for Papers

Papers should address one or both of the following areas:

– The history of translation and interpreting as well as the history of translation and interpreting studies

– Theoretical and methodological aspects of translation history

Furthermore, book reviews and conference reports regarding translation and interpreting history are very welcome. Ideas for books or events worthy of discussion are much appreciated.

We kindly ask all authors who are interested in handing in a paper to inform the editorial team via e-mail (chronotopos@univie.ac.at) until 1 August 2024. Papers are due 1 November 2024. The expected date of publication of the non-thematic issue is autumn 2025.

 

Chronotopos is a diamond open access multilingual journal that publishes articles (double-blind peer review), book reviews, conference reports, project presentations and documents of translation history in English, French and German. For contributions in other languages, please contact the editors before submission.
