Call for Papers: Issue 1 – Volume 4 (2022)

Focus: Translation Theories of Translators

Chronotopos welcomes contributions on translators and their theories from different times and places: How did they reflect upon their practice? How did the (linguistic, cultural, political, social etc.) contexts they worked in influence their translation theories? What were the main discourses on translation circulating during their lifetime? What caused them to reflect their practice? And how did that reflection manifest in their translation practice?

Submission deadline:  30th September 2021.

Please inform the editors of your intention to submit via chronotopos@univie.ac.at.
